Add chicken stock, rosemary, thyme and sage, and gently stir until combined. Continue cooking until the soup reaches a simmer. Reduce heat to medium-low, and stir in the egg noodles and chicken. Add carrot, celery, onion, rice, thyme, sage and pepper.
Instructions to make Herb Chicken Soup:
- Add oil in a soup pot. Saute onion, garlic, ginger, cinnamon, start anise, clove, fennel seeds, cumin seeds. Cook until the mixture turn aromatic.
- Add in chicken pieces. Stir well. Cover with lid and cook for 15 minutes under med flame. Keep stirring ocassionally.
- Add black pepper powder, garam masala, cumin powder & coriander powder. Stir well and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add water. Stir well. Let it cook under high flame for 5 to 10 minutes. Add in potato. Stir. Add salt.
- Once the potato cooked 3⁄4, add in sliced carrots. Stir and let the soup cook under low flame until the sliced carrot cooked. (approximately 10 minutes). Add salt if needed.
Reduce heat to medium-low, and stir in the egg noodles and chicken. Add carrot, celery, onion, rice, thyme, sage and pepper. Add broth; cover and bring to a boil over high heat. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook onions in oil until translucent. Stir in celery, carrots, rosemary, tarragon, thyme and parsley and cook, covered, until vegetables are halfway cooked.
